At Planful, we are constantly investing in our education by attending webinars and signing up for online courses. We make the time to improve our knowledge so that we can better serve our clients…and even ourselves.

It is amazing what you can learn with a simple wifi connection and a laptop. If you sign up for webinars on a regular basis you will easily be able to teach yourself anything you wish to learn. The internet has truly made education affordable if you are willing to take the time and effort to research what you want to know. Many of the online courses and webinars that you will run across are free or very reasonably priced. It’s all about time and research to find what it is you want to know. Melanie Duncan is a great example of someone to follow for periodic online presentations on how to improve your business, and we highly recommend joining her e-mailing list.

In the most recent webinar we attended, we learned the benefits of upselling and outsourcing certain tasks. Although the majority of the webinar was a review, these two tips have already helped us build a larger profit margin.

In addition to webinars, you can register for courses through Udemy. Udemy is considered “the world’s largest destination for online courses.” Recently, we have signed up for courses about web development to keep our knowledge as up to date as possible.
